Electric Motorcycle Conversion

The Ninja started out a dirty greasy mess with a froze up ICE engine. It smelled of stale gas and burnt oil. A great combination. The electric version will use little of these 2 things.

It started out weighing 495 pounds and ended the day at 220 pounds. The gas engine transmission combination was about 275 pounds.

The goal here is an electric bike as nice as the one described on John Bidwells’ 21-wheels (see the El Ninja link).

This bike will provide a clean and reliable vehicle for the daily commute. Toss in the wind in the hair and sun in the gas tank, and going to work seems a little less dreary.
